Authors who publish with Wellspring: Journal of Sustainable Public Health agree to the following terms regarding copyright and licensing. The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions and will retain publishing rights without restrictions.

1. Copyright Retention

Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under an open access license that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

2. Open Access Licensing

All articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This means that users are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work, as well as make derivative works, provided that the original author is credited, the source is cited, and the new creations are licensed under identical terms.

3. Distribution Rights

Authors are permitted and encouraged to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
