The Relationship Between the Implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program and Work Productivity at PT Sermani Steel Corporation Makassar

The K3 program is a very important program in a company and has a positive effect on work productivity and can be shaped by communication, supervision, training. With K3 training, work productivity will also increase and is relevant, so K3 training is implemented in the workplace. it is recommended that the company consider and pay attention to the K3 program in order to improve perfect work productivity. This study aims to determine the relationship between the implementation of the K3 program and the productivity of workers at PT. Sermani Steel Corporation Makassar in 2022.
This type of research uses quantitative with cross sectional design. The sampling technique uses a total population of 65 respondents. Data obtained by using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by chi-square test. From the results of the study it was found that the variables significantly related to OSH message communication on work productivity (p-value = 0.038) OSH supervision (p-value = 0.018) OSH training (p-value = 0.021) OSH policies and discipline (p- value = 0.036). while those that are not related are Inspection and accident investigation (p-value = 1.000), and company commitment (p-value = 1.306)). It can be concluded that there is no relationship between the communication of OSH messages, OSH supervision, OSH training and OSH policies and discipline. From the results of the company's research, it is hoped that workers will always pay attention to the K3 program that applies in the company so that they can increase their knowledge and understanding while working
